Prior to law school, Megan worked as the Business Manager for a software development company, the Deputy Director for a state-wide initiative, and a lobbyist for the Arizona Department of Veterans Services. Megan’s professional experience and her attention to detail make her adept at document review, while her clean writing and detailed analysis make her excellent at drafting well-written legal documents.
Megan graduated Cum Laude from Arizona Summit Law School, in the top 12% of her class, and Order of the Quill. During law school, she was a Team Leader on the school’s law review and helped to found one of the largest student organizations on campus. Additionally, she interned with the AZ Veterans’ Court at the Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix and The Institute for Justice in Tempe, AZ.
After law school, Megan worked for a small boutique law firm in Phoenix that focused on business law, including entity formation, mediation, litigation, licensing, and securities. She drafted numerous briefs, memoranda, motions, settlement documents, client letters, discovery requests, and other legal documents. During her time with the firm, she successfully drafted motions that secured unprecedented and celebrated victories for her clients in the medical marijuana industry.
Currently, Megan owns her own business law firm (Your Contract Shop) that focuses on assisting small to medium-sized businesses in their legal matters. With a focus on contracting, entity formation, trademarking, and negotiations, Your Contract Shop has provided hundreds of clients with affordable and efficient legal services since 2016.
Megan loves kayaking, camping, roller skating, and granting wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation when she's not working.
